I've been told this is a modified version of motors to be seen in a forthcoming second-rev (Christmas, 2002) BIO-Bug toy.

This page presents data from my testing of two 224:1 "BIO Bug style" motors now sold by Solarbotics (motors provided courtesy of Dave Hrynkiw). These are very impressive little motors for the price, and both versions yield almost identical performance. The test procedure I used is described elsewhere.
